On July 8th, GBBC will host a closed-door roundtable breakfast in London with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The discussion with the FCA will be focused on the issues now coming into view as the UK cryptoasset regime moves from consultation into implementation. Given the current stage of work, we consider there’s value in a practical discussion on the Handbook proposals for regulated cryptoasset activities, the application of the Consumer Duty, and the stablecoin issuance and custody framework, particularly where firms are now beginning to work through how the different parts of the regime will fit together in practice.
