Initiatives InterWork Alliance (IWA), BITA Standards Council (BITA), and U.S. Blockchain Coaltion.
GBBC Giving, the non-profit arm of GBBC which supports the Food for Crisis initiative with the UN WFP Innovation Accelerator, as well as Blockchain x Climate (BxC) Leadership Network.
Can I join GBBC as an individual?
GBBC does not offer individual memberships. GBBC membership is only available to legally incorporated organizations in good standing. However, if you are an individual, you may access GBBC’s free educational resources and open events, and subscribe to our newsletter here.
How can my organization become a GBBC member?
Organizations are invited to get in touch with us via our online membership form, where GBBC can follow up with more information.
Please note that GBBC carefully vets all of its members, and that membership invitations are made at the sole discretion of GBBC.
Does GBBC accept non-profits and government entities as members?
Yes, non-profits, academia, and government entities may join GBBC on an invitation-only basis as Observing Members. GBBC Observing Members have no voting rights and do not pay dues. For more information, please get in touch.
Are there different types of GBBC membership?

What are the benefits of GBBC membership?
Members gain access to GBBC’s extensive global network of institutions and leaders in the blockchain and digital assets space and are invited to take part in an array of research and thought-leadership opportunities, including events and the Global Standards Mapping Initiative (GSMI). Membership benefits are highly tailored to the needs of each individual member, so additional benefits may be agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.
How do I become a GBBC Ambassador?
The Ambassadorships are announced annually, typically in January. The application to consider new ambassadors reopens every November. To express interest, please email ambassador@gbbcouncil.org.
Does GBBC lobby on behalf of its members?
GBBC’s activities are focused around three key pillars: education, advocacy, and partnership. GBBC does not employ lobbyists. GBBC works closely with governments and regulators to build bridges across public and private sector stakeholders.
