As digital finance expands, so do the risks that come with it. On April 14, a select group of leaders will come together for the PROTECT Initiative Roundtable, an invite-only discussion focused on tackling fraud and scams through a financial inclusion lens.
Co-hosted by IDB Lab, the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI), and Alliance for Innovative Regulation (AIR), the roundtable will bring together voices from across policy, industry, and research to examine where gaps remain, and how coordinated action can better protect vulnerable consumers. GBBC’s Diana Oreto (Barrero Zalles), Head of GSMI and Research, will be participating in the discussion, contributing to dialogue spanning data, private sector practices, and regulatory responses.
