Closed-Door Session: Capital Markets Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) Roundtable
Oct 2 - Oct 3, 2025
Kicking off at 11:00am CEST on October 2, GBBC will convene financial institutions, regulators, and innovators to unpack GBBC’s Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) during a closed-door* roundtable alongside Sibos, taking place in Messe Frankfurt, Germany. RMF is an industry-led effort aimed at regulated financial institutions to provide guidelines on how to analyze and control the non-financial risks that arise when they use public blockchain infrastructure. A cross-sector working group—comprising financial-market infrastructures, global systemically important banks, multilateral development banks, and leading Layer-1 protocol teams—has collaborated to provide a common reference rooted in their practical experience of managing risks in blockchain implementations and to provide an overview of how the new technology can be incorporated into established risk-management framework.
*Note: Access is limited to only Sibos ticket holders.
