
Amina Turgulova
Amina Turgulova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the global financial industry, recognized for her expertise in capital markets, digital asset infrastructure, and regulatory development. Until recently, she served as Senior Policy & Regulatory Affairs Advisor at Solidus Labs, a crypto-native market surveillance provider, where she was responsible for global regulatory monitoring and industry’s feedback to regulators on advanced crypto-specific frameworks. Amina also managed strategy and operations of the Crypto Market Integrity Coalition (CMIC), bringing together 53 digital asset companies to promote transparency and market integrity worldwide. She has been actively involved in advocacy campaigns at both the U.S. federal and state levels, regularly contributing to policy discussions on Capitol Hill.
In addition to her U.S. engagement, Amina collaborates with global regulatory bodies, including IOSCO, and served on the working groups under the World Federation of Exchanges and the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC). Earlier in her career, Amina held senior leadership positions at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), including Senior Policy Advisor to the Governor, Deputy CEO of the Astana International Exchange (AIX), and Head of the Project Management Office, where she was responsible for launching AIX from the ground up. She holds a Master of International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
